The City of Big Rapids will accept sealed bids for One - Heavy duty four post 30,000 lbs. Drive-on lift and Installation in the Treasurer’s Office located inside City Hall located at 226 N. Michigan Avenue, Big Rapids, MI 49307 until 2:00 p.m. local time, Monday December 4, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All questions must be submitted in writing which can be sent to smoore@cityofbr.org they must be submitted 48 hours prior to bid opening. All questions and answers will be sent to all interested parties and posted on the City of Big Rapids website and any other advertising websites.

This project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and subject to federal and state guidelines. The federal requirements for this project are Materials and Supplies Less Than $150,000 and are attached. A signed copy of page 1 of the federal requirements must be submitted with the bid. A signed copy of the attached Certification of Compliance with Federal Contract Clauses must also be submitted with the bid.

The City of Big Rapids reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids for sound, documentable, business reasons or to waive informalities, and to award in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

The award will only be to a responsive and responsible firm whose bid, conforms to all the material terms and conditions of the bid. All Bid prices must remain valid for 60 days past the submission deadline.
