The Government is seeking an Electrical Lateral Investigation, Testing and Diagnosis of Medium Voltage (MV) Feeders #6 and #9 in order to provide a status of the condition to support reliable electrical power and minimize power outage aircraft safety requirements on Selfridge ANGB, MI. The contractor’s staff shall be fully qualified, professional, and customer service oriented and shall have previous experience of this kind of work. The contractor shall ensure quality work performance in accordance with (IAW) applicable standards and guidelines. The contractor shall follow all OSHA safety lock out tag out procedures for all work and test, inspect/diagnose the condition of Selfridge medium voltage feeders and provide report of their condition. Coordination with POC
and Base Electrical Maintenance shop for all planned power outages. Weekend work shall be required for testing. All testing shall be non-destructive and shall be done in accordance with ANSI/IEEE, UFC, NETA standards and NEC. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary.

52.232-18 Availability of Funds.
Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
