U.S. GOVERNMENT - NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXERCISE RENEWAL OPTION
The U.S. Government currently occupies space for the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol under a lease at the Detroit Ambassador Bridge Land Port of Entry. The Government has a continuing need for this space and intends to exercise a 10-year renewal option with termination rights in whole or in part, using other than full and open competition.
The Government requires space yielding 340,122.50 rentable square feet of improved land and 372 surface parking spaces. The space must be located adjacent to the Ambassador Bridge Detroit Land Port of Entry.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. Offered space shall not be in the 100-year flood plain.
Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). ). Expressions of interest must be received in writing no later than November 22, 2023, at 4:00 PM CT, and must include the following information at a minimum:
1) Building name and address
2) Location of space in the building and date of availability
3) ANSI/BOMA Office Area (ABOA) square feet offered AND Rentable square feet offered
4) Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact
5) All interested parties must either submit evidence of ownership or written authorization to represent the owner(s). Any submission received without documentation of ownership and/or written authorization to represent the owner(s) will not be considered until such time the documentation has been received which also must be submitted prior to the Expression of Interest Due Date.
6) Rental Rate for a 10-year lease with early termination rights in whole or in part at any time.
7) Reference Project Number 1MI2243 in response to this notice of intent
