Statement of Work
March 19th, 2023
C.1. General
C.1.1 The overall objective of this effort is to remove the existing five (5) low pressure (return) hoses and install new high pressure R2AT-32 2” hoses with all necessary hardware to connect to existing hydraulic system. This project is located at GVSC’s Bridge Technology Laboratory, B1424 Selfridge ANGB, MI. The Bridge Technology Laboratory performs structural strength testing on military bridges as well as provides their corresponding military load classification.
C.2 Requirements
C.2.1 The Contractor’s Work includes all labor; supervision; materials; equipment; services; supplies; tools; transportation; or other items required or reasonably inferable to remove (5) low pressure hoses and replace with new high-pressure hoses. Contractor’s Work shall be performed in accordance with the following minimum requirements and specifications:
C.2.1.1 Disconnect, remove and dispose of (5) low pressure (return) hydraulic hoses located near the catwalk on the load test gantry. Contractor shall prevent oil spills and collect and properly dispose of oil leaking from system/low pressure hoses during this project.
C.2.1.2. Install (5) new high pressure R2AT 2” hoses with all necessary fittings and hardware. Length of new high-pressure hoses shall match existing low pressure hoses to be replaced.
C.2.1.3 New high-pressure hoses shall have a disconnect fitting allowing for quick removal and re connecting at the valves along the catwalk. Contractor may re use existing disconnect fitting.
C.2.1.5 Re-install hoses to cylinders and refill oil as needed.
C.2.1.8 Contractor shall provide new oil as needed.
C.2.1.10 Period of Performance: 45 days from notice to proceed. Cylinders shall be delivered to 44090 Schilling St, Harrison Township, MI 48045.
