This is a non-personnel services contract to provide periodic replacements of Survivability Armor Ballistic Lab (SABL)’s air filtration & exhaust system filters. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
The objective is to provide and install replacement filtration for the Makeup Air Unit (MAU) and the exhaust systems servicing SABL’s indoor firing ranges in Bldg 219. The SABL indoor range’s air filtration and exhaust system requires regular replacements of filters to remove various debris, dusts, fumes, and hazardous substances (such as lead) produced during and post ballistic impacts within the impact chambers.
