Description
The United States Environmental Protection Agency is undertaking a sampling system component partial upgrade to Light Duty test cells HTF and CTF for measuring vehicle emissions and fuel economy at the National Vehicle and Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The purpose of this upgrade is to replace aged hardware to ensure that these test sites continue to conform to 1066 testing procedures for testing gasoline (up to 15% ethanol blends), diesel, and gaseous fueled (compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied propane gas (LPG) vehicles for Tier 3 emissions compliance while utilizing the latest state-of-the-art analytical measurement equipment.
